Arsenal took full points at home against Newcastle. Van Persie scored the 15th minute and Thomas Vermaelen in injury time to make Arsenal win with a score of 2-1.Newcastle goal from Hatem Ben Arfa in 14th minute could not prevent Newcastle from defeat.
With this result Arsenal remained in ranked fourth with 52 points while Newcastle was ranked sixth with 44 points.
